1. Services Provided

Bears Moving Co. provides professional residential and commercial moving, packing, and furniture assembly services. By booking a move, the Customer agrees to the terms outlined herein.

2. Estimates and Billing

Hourly Minimum: All moves are subject to a [2-hour] minimum charge.

Hourly Rates: After the minimum is met, billing continues at the agreed-upon hourly rate.

Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Packing: Unless "Full Packing Services" are booked, the Customer is responsible for having all items boxed and ready for transport.

Valuables: We strongly recommend that Customers personally transport high-value items (jewelry, cash, legal documents, and small electronics) 

4. Liability & Insurance

Licensed & Insured: Bears Moving Co. is a licensed mover in the state of Georgia.

Standard Valuation: Unless additional insurance is purchased, our liability for loss or damage is limited to the standard industry rate of $0.60 per pound per article.

Fragile Items: We are not liable for internal electronic components of TVs or computers unless there is visible external damage to the unit.

Owner-Packed Boxes: We are not liable for the contents of boxes packed by the Customer.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move.
